Not very rosy

I wish I knew a lot about what I was getting into, but I was in a rush and now am being hounded every now and then for my sugar blood reading yet the final benefit is not that rosy at, not sure it can cover funeral and leave enough for my kids to wash away their tears… Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023

This is a disgrace

This company is a disgrace and clearly employs internal policies (which they won't share) to hold onto people's money. My father recently past away and had a life assurance policy which when I initially contact Royal London on the 3rd of Jan was told due to the type of product it wouldn't need Grant of Probate to pay out. Got the insurance over a year ago.

Got the insurance over a year ago. Tried to talk to them today,first someone answered and hung up on me.After tried again about half an hour no one answered the call.To sell me insurance and get money from me they contacted me numerous times.Now when I want to talk to someone of them no one answered the phone. Absolutely worst insurance company

Absolutely worst insurance company, ever. Have taken from my account 500£ without explaining why/what service I have received. They said they investigating and its been 3 months. I have been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and have diabetes plus a D.V.T. I have applied for a last year of life pay out they have asked for my consultants report which they've had for weeks they then wanted my GP report whom I haven't seen for 7 months and only knows what the consultant tells him. After that it goes to there medical department who has never seen me for assessment the last time I had contact they told me it was with them for 5 days but the previous... Straightforward for not a modern company

Really easy to get on board and felt very much on my terms with regard to payment terms, when to sign up by, how much to pay etc. have only just started though so let’s see! Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Extremely poor customer service

Every email during the claim stage took weeks to get any reply on, the updates were then basic at best. All emails were sent via an encrypted email through a third party software which only let you save the email as HTML or EML file, not a regular PDF, meaning they were a file format not supported by a lot of other companies, including the FSCS who I ended up having to go to when Royal London rejected my claim.
