Friendly and helpful but limited options

The person I spoke to today was friendly and helpful and understood my needs. However, I am a little disappointed with the options open to me as I will probably have to be tied into a 2 year deal at a fixed rate that is higher than I currently pay, and which will probably look even worse as interest rates continue to fall.
