Took such a long time to get through the hoops of getting the mortgage in the first place, relevant paperwork we supplied kept running out of date and we had to keep starting again- we nearly lost the property. In fact, it was only when we told our agent to forget it and find another lender that you approved our application immediately. Reviewed on: 5th June 2025

Very Friendly, helpful service as always.

Very Friendly, helpful service as always. The only building society/bank where you can actually speak to a British person, who can help you without being transferred to 10 million different non english speaking random people who just pass you on to someone else. NOONE at Saffron has ever failed to help me and I am a pain, as I am always wanting to no someone. The ONLY challenging thing with Saffron is that I keep asking to have the info emailed to access the saffron APP but the email never arrives. No matter, because I can ring Saffron and be helped that way. Brilliant service - thank you all very much :-) Reviewed on: 4th June 2025

Excellent service I contacted Saffron B S to port my existing Mortgage and apply for a Top Up to buy a new build house, I spoke to Kimberley Willett, Retentions Adviser who went through everything that was needed to apply for the Mortgage, Kim gave me advice on the options available to me and went through everything with me!
