Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Excellent car insurance for my needs.

Excellent car insurance for my needs. Great choice of levels. Easy peasy to understand and fill out the forms or update online. Always able to contact Saga for information or help. The staff are always available, respectful, knowledgeable and supportive and understanding whether it’s for information or a claim. I chose the full comprehensive extensive coverage which covers me for absolutely everything legislation requires and gives me total confidence and peace of mind. Worth every penny having checked with other providers; no add ons and my No claims protected. Easy access from my phone so I always have cover with me. What’s not to like!
