Saga offer three levels of car insurance for over 50s – Saga Standard, Saga Select and Saga Plus.

All policies have an uninsured driver promise protecting your no claims discount and no excess to pay if you're hit by an uninsured driver. Depending on the policy, there are extras you can add on to the policy to provide more protection.

I have insured my car with Saga for the last 5 years. Each year the renewal process is dealt with over the phone by efficient staff who strive to get the best deal for customers. I obtained a quote from Saga and compared it with my renewal quote from the RAC and found it 40% cheaper plus the premium has been fixed for three years plus I have a £20 voucher to spend. I took the Saga Car Insurance because I felt it was value for money and the next 3 years I know exactly how much my insurance will be.
