Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

They took all the worry away

Once we had the accident, SAGA took care off everything. Threatening letters, other correspondence, telephone calles, all directed back to Saga, and that was the end of it. They even sorted a replacement car while ours was being fixed. Reviewed on: 29th September 2021

Three year fixed car cover

Other than Saga providing one of the lowest quotations in relation to optional extras or add ons, many are standard. With car insurance seemingly increasing every year, their three year fixed policy was a great option. Customer service is second to none.
