Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Good cover and nice to book speaking to an actual person

I have had insurances with SAGA for many years including Car Insurance, Travel Insurance and House and Contents insurance. They are straight forward and it is nice to talk to an actual person. Reviewed on: 29th September 2021

Peace of Mind

I have two cars insured with Saga also my home/contents I have never had a problem dealing with Saga. When I travel I use Saga Travel Insurance, and thank goodness I did. I ended up in hospital in Singapore and one call to Saga was all it took to get the support I needed, they delt directly with the hospital and resolved everything. Thank you Saga. Great value insurance at a fixed price
