Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

The Best Car Insurance I have had.

I have had many different companies that have provided for my needs in the past 45 years i have been driving. None of them have apart from SAGA have catered for my full needs. Some have even tried to negate their responsibilities with hidden clauses in the maze of legal jargon. However with SAGA i have found what you see is what you get. Some have tried to poach me from SAGA with promises and gifts but I say "why try to fix something that is not broken". Reviewed on: 29th September 2021
