Card renewal - bad practice

2 male operatives didn't give the correct information and the female operative tried her best but her boss has not deemed my complaint important enough to get back to me. I received a letter from Saga stating my credit card had expired and to ring them with new details. On giving the details of my card, immediate payment for my car insurance was taken from my bank account.At no time was I told this would happen and no one would cancel the payment which was not due for 3 another 3weeks. I was told to cancel it through my bank .They told me the payment was ",pending "so it couldn't be done and to go back to Saga. This practice should be made clear in their letter or by the operative before taking my card details. It has caused me financial embarrassment and disappointment as well 2hrs on the phone trying to deal with this..I will not be renewing my insurance with Saga next year for sure Reviewed on: 25th April 2023

Very helpful after telephone conversation

I should have had my renewal car insurance taken on the 22.09.20 but as it was'nt taken I rang to find out what had happened,and they had my bank card number that had ran out but it was soon sorted out. Reviewed on: 11th September 2020

Customer Service Outstanding

I changed my car not long ago & needed to update my policy. I called & spoke to a lovely, helpful gentleman & in no time at all everything was sorted out without any hassle.
