Saga offers two levels of cover, Saga Plus and Saga Select. With Saga Plus, you can expect to pay the same price for two years if there are no changes, even after most types of claim. If you cancel during the two-year period, you won't be charged a cancellation fee, T&Cs apply.

We had an unfortunate set of circumstances that meant we had to make several claims on our house insurance, who ever we spoke to made every effort to help and guide us through a difficult time, and payment was made promptly Reviewed on: 26th August 2026

Saga listened to what I was saying...

Saga listened to what I was saying and wanted rather than other insurers with ‘defacto high standards’ but who tried endlessly to include extras by stealth ie in the event of a claim I would have to pay more than we agreed at the quote stage. Granted it was my fault that I did not check this on the policy but Saga have never let me down with any tricks! Reviewed on: 26th August 2026

a fair insurance

I'm 64 years old and in the last 18 months bought a house. I looked at a few insurance companies but Saga was the one that met all my needs at a reasonable price and did not say "it's your age!" when I called for quotes. Reviewed on: 26th August 2026
