Saga provides home insurance policies that can cover buildings only, contents only or both combined.

Saga offers two levels of cover, Saga Plus and Saga Select. With Saga Plus, you can expect to pay the same price for two years if there are no changes, even after most types of claim. If you cancel during the two-year period, you won't be charged a cancellation fee, T&Cs apply.

An excellent supportive service from Saga Insurance.

Last year our home was flooded by a third party. Luckily we were insured with Saga Insurance who provided us with an excellent service. They supported us through the whole experience organising all the remedial work, the new decor, replacement of damaged items etc. They kept in touch regularly to check on our mental and physical well-being. We appreciated their gift of a lovely Christmas hamper while decanted to alternative accommodation. The Saga Team helped us through a very stressful time. Reviewed on: 9th September 2026

Held home insurance with Saga for many years now. Easy to set up over the phone & instigate any changes as the years have gone by. I have not had to make any claims at all but feel Saga would handle any issues easily & in a timely manner. Reviewed on: 1st September 2026
