Faith in insurers restored by Saga

Following a terrible experience with a different provider in 2022 I turned to Saga to insure my next holiday. I picked up debilitating virus. The service from Saga was excellent. All medical bills covered without a quibble. Fortunately I was able to return on the planned flight but I knew they would pay for a rebooking if needed. So I reinsured with them for a big trip this year. Although I did not need to call upon their service this time I felt totally secure when I ventured to the opposite side of the world. An Early Claim

I have had cause to claim on my travel insurance once, after just joining Saga. My claim was dealt with quickly and efficiently even as a brand new customer. I was not penalised with higher premiums the following year as a result of my early claim. I now have travel, Car and Home insurance with Saga and feel properly protected. Customer service is really helpful if you have queries and I love the fact that if you flight is delayed Saga send you vouchers for the Airport lounge, it helps you focus less on the delay! Reviewed on: 27th September 2025

Holiday cancellation
