An efficient service, manned by people not machines!

I have made use of Saga's travel insurance a couple of times, once when stranded in Italy for 4 days when our plane was cancelled, and more recently when a friend and I had to cancel our holiday to Sicily when she was taken ill. Each time the response has been prompt and efficient and I have been fully reimbursed. This compares very favourably to other insurers. Reviewed on: 8th October 2025

Fell ill whilst in Switzerland

After not feeling well whilst in Switzerland, Saga Travel Insurance, after checking the claim was legitimate, paid out my claim without hesitation. Reviewed on: 4th October 2025

Price charged was quite good compared to others we'd looked at.. We had to make a claim as my husband fell ill. This was dealt with fairly reasonably timewise I suppose. The claim was settled satisfactorily. Reviewed on: 2nd October 2025

I've just taken an annual travel policy with Saga having used them for a single trip policy in the past which I unfortunately had to claim on and was very impressed with the way they handled the claim.
