A very reasonable price when comparing.

Good for over-60 travel insurance

I like that for travel insurance their questionnaire of ailments is easy to fill in, doesn't ask silly questions, and doesn't make un-necessary restrictions. They're a lot better than Co-op insurance and tons better than Easyjet. Reviewed on: 20th August 2025

Leg injury in USA

In December 2024 I was in the USA. On Christmas Day I slipped on snow, fell, and ruptured the quadriceps tendon in one leg. I was seen in Dartmouth Hospital (Saga covered all the fees) - I was due to fly back to the UK two days later, and because I had to keep the injured leg straight, I needed an upgrade to my flight. Saga arranged all that perfectly, as well as arranging assistance and a car to collect me at the UK airport. All done very smoothly. Reviewed on: 20th August 2025

Reliable, professional and friendly

You really only know how good your insurer is when you have to make a claim. Unfortunately, we needed to cancel a holiday at short notice recently for medical reasons, but Saga agreed to pay the claim in full with no fuss.
