Always competitive snd easy to deal with

Good for savings.

Great savings rates and excellent customer service.

I have always found Shawbrook's interest rates on their savings accounts to be some of the best available on the market at the time. Their rates on instant access savings have been particularly competitive. It has been very easy to open accounts via their website, and also to transfer funds to new products once any fixed terms have come to an end. Whenever I have needed to speak to them on the phone, which is rarely, their staff have been knowledgeable, helpful and extremely polite. Very importantly for me, their customer service has always been first class. I have not been held in a telephone queue for ages and have always spoken to a courteous human being - if only all banks were the same! I continue to save using Shawbrook products and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for great savings products combined with great customer service. Answered the phone quickly - a rare thing these days! The person I spoke to was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed. What else is there to say - I was able to set up a new savings account at a higher interest rate from the previous year, so everything felt easy and satisfactory.
