The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Excellent bank, slight niggles but nothing major

I love the app and the bank, it's so seamless to do anything and review processes are quite fast (when suspicious transactions are detected). My only criticism is I wish the UI was more like Monzo in the account section to see for example money coming in as green, and money out as red. Apart from that I am sticking with Starling all the way and has been my main account for a while now. Reviewed on: 24th January 2022

Poor Experience

Had a poor experience with Starling Bank. Their customer service was poor, leading to a complaint and then a complaint to the ombudsman who sided in my favor. The app feels clunky and slow. Reviewed on: 24th January 2022

Is a bank just a bank?

A bank is just a bank right, so it's a bit weird to have an emotional attachment to it. I've had accounts with a number of banks before, from the super fancy to the mundane, but this is the first time I've got excited about banking. Love the app love the service. Best bank ever...
