Brilliant banking experience.

Brilliant banking experience. I can budget so much better now. Easy, safe... Can't fault it. I expect some customers might miss the cheque facility but personally it's a great bank and so pleased I switched 2 years ago, having heard the founder tell her story on the radio. Starling was easy to switch over from my high street bank. The saving spaces and virtual cards are a great way to help manage my monies. I was nervous about no physical branch should any issues arise, however every interaction with customer services has been seamless and dealt with swiftly. Reviewed on: 9th July 2024

A brilliant and amazing online bank

A high tech and professional bank, instant notifications, cheapest overdraft rate!! Amazing Euro exchange rates with very low fee!!! Very good and speedy customer service, many gadgetry via the App!!! Switching from British account into Euro account in an instance via the App, using same physical or virtual cards for both currencies!! Ive been with them for approx 6years, never had any issues!!!! Brilliant - Virtual Cards and interest on Current A/c.

Starling quickly became my favorite bank and for a good reason! The user interface is incredibly intuitive both on the app and website. They have real-time account updates so you can see exactly how much you spent and when, as soon as the purchase was made. Since I have dyscalculia, a learning difficulty around numerical values (to put it simply!), this feature makes it feel a lot easier to navigate Starling compared to other banks which may only reflect purchases days later. It might sound like a small thing, but it's helped me to budget safely while avoiding issues like spending money I don't actually have! Even more than that, I really love the spaces function which lets me pay my bills directly from the space. It means I can immediately make sure that essential spends and bills are covered and I only see the amount of money I have "leftover" for the month on the main page. At the same time, the actually pretty good monthly interest rate applies to the cumulative balance across your account, even if it's divided into spaces! There are no monthly fees and as such the value for money is fantastic. I can only recommend this bank! Reviewed on: 2nd June 2024

Starling's euro acc great value for travelling

Having a Starling current account and Euro account is really useful, . both for travelling and for transactions with my European lodgers. Transferring funds is easy and the exchange rate is the best. You only need one card, which I have on Google Pay, and you can select whether you're paying in sterling or euros on the app. Excellent! Reviewed on: 29th May 2024
