So simple to use

I opened an account for my holiday spending in Europe. The account is so simple to operate and you get the best rate of exchange and the card is accepted even in tiny shops and remote restaurants. Reviewed on: 19th January 2020

New, fresh and convenient

Changing banks was a huge step to make for me but couldn't have been happier with the Starling product and customer service. I have a persoanl account, joint account and a Euro account and am waiting in anticipation for news on when the Starling credit card will be available as this will complete my Starling experience. Such good service

The account was easy to set up. It is so simple to use and I like that expenditure is confirmed within seconds. It is excellent for use abroad and I also love that I receive interest each month. I recommend Starling to anyone discussing banks and at least one friend has joined and is equally pleased with service. Reviewed on: 19th January 2020

best move ever

never had such an easy and streamlined application process. approval took no more than a few minutes. the app is great with real time alerts and I've tried it for foreign purchases compared to my Santander zero card - it does the same job with the added extras. Immediate records of spending including overseas

I was always doubtful of spending in Europe with my old bank. Spending accounts showed up long after the trip, and even daily spending only appeared at the end of the month. With Starling I get notified of every transaction often shortly after spending. I know where I am all the time . I'd lost confidence in my former bank and felt it looked after itself first and the customer last. Reviewed on: 19th January 2020

Up to the minute banking

Couldn’t believe how straightforward signing up for this account was. Once I was all set up, I chose my own pin, (imagine that!) and then they sent me a card out, which I had a few days later. Any payment going in to my account is texted to me so I can see it immediately. As for the savings, oh my goodness, talk about innovation! You name the thing you’re saving for and how much you want to save and it’s all managed through one account. I won’t do it justice by even trying to explain it. But they even have a way for you to easily add to your savings by giving you an option to round up spends on the card to the nearest £ and they’ll add that to your savings. Honestly, I have several accounts with a top high street bank, but this bad boy account system makes me wanna move all my money and accounts there! Originally I only opened the starling account to hide money from my main account so I wouldn’t spend it and have it for when I needed it. Now I’m looking at moving my entire banking system over to them and I’ve only had the account 10 days!!! Reviewed on: 19th January 2020
