Superb bank, incredibly easy to join, smart team.

Despite being super techy, I'd always been a little uncomfortable with the idea of a mobile-only bank. However, after reading a few reviews, Twitter threads, and seeing some screenshots of the Starling Bank app, I was tempted to give it a go. Within about a day of using Starling I'd already decided to make it my primary account, and switched to it via the Current Account Switch Service (which I think Starling were one of the first mobile banks to support!) I haven't looked back since. Within a week of using it, I'd also moved my Business account to Starling. The app is super easy and mostly intuitive to use, and the customer service has always been incredibly human, speedy and responsive when I've needed them. It was even easy enough to cash a cheque when I got the odd one, and I appreciate their transparency on their blog about what features they're missing or building. Compared to the difficulty getting any kind of support from TSB or Halifax, Starling have been a real breath of fresh air, and I wish them all the best, and I can't recommend them enough. Brilliant bank!

I opened my account in less than 5 minutes I uploaded my passport as ID and a short video to confirm my ID and my account was open. I really like the app it’s brilliant when I pay for something it comes straight out no waiting and bing a notification too. The customer service had been great too. I’d really recommend starling much better than my old bank I’m currently switching now to them as I feel they are more ahead of times. Reviewed on: 6th November 2018

Changed the way I bank

Before starling bank, I would rely on a credit card instead of putting money aside, had no savings and would live payday to payday. Thanks to goals and the simplicity of the app, I now save regularly, am out of relying on credit cards. Starling are the apple of the banking world. Reviewed on: 6th November 2018

Excellent and modern bank

Have been really impressed with Starling. Set up of my account was quick and easy, I get warning prior to direct debits coming out and I get instant notifications on any transactions including contactless which can take days on a traditional account.
