My profession was banking consultant

A totally brilliant bank. Works for its customers rather than itself. Products straightforward. Access to your account details immediately. Notifies you whenever ther's been a transaction against the account. You know immediately where you stand. Has friendly staff on the phone should you need to ask a question. Has absolutely no drawbacks. Used to bank with HSBC. They have closed the nearest (busy) branch from my home so I used the branch in the local town, a busy town and they are closing that branch also. I know from past knowledge that they have a fatal flaw in their business model, but they aren't interested in learning about it. Starling just looks after your money, treats it as your money and is impressively efficient. Can't fault it. Reviewed on: 24th March 2022

Simple bank, brilliant features!

It is a very easy to setup and use bank. Security is top priority with a face video needed for all logins, which is at times frustrating but it’s amazing to make sure your accounts protected! Reviewed on: 24th March 2022

Great for holidays and monitoring day-to-day spending

Easy banking

Never thought that I would do Internet only banking. When I first started with a bank account with the Midland bank there was a really personal touch friendly tellers who new you when you went to the counter. Not someone in a cage like today or just machine banking . I have found with starling that although you are not there only customer but you are made to feel you are.
