Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Stepchange helped me admit that I was in debt and started helping me through what I can and can't do. I chose a debt management plan to help me make managable payments and still put food on the table. StepChange have been amazing they helped me so much when my husband passed and I found myself in financial difficulties they helped me put a plan together to affordabily pay my debts off over a period of time they contacted the companies I owed money to and explained my situation to them also if I have any concerns they are always there to help and advise I don't know what I would have done without their help I would highly recommend any one in financial difficulty to contact them. Best debt management plan service

I'm using StepChange with a debt management plan and I cleared most of my debt so far without issues.
