Solid Advice from a caring team

It took me a very long time to admit to myself I had a debt problem by which point I could see no way out. With much trepidation I called StepChange and that was my first step out of dark and troubled times. These people are fabulous

Every person that I have spoken to at StepChange has been amazing in supporting and helping me see the light at the end of the tunnel. Practical advice is great but more than that, they have made me feel that I am a worthwhile person even though I have worries galore regarding money. I said to the lady I spoke to for some time this week, who was going through my budget, 'You have made me feel like crying, but in a good way!' I can't say more than that - she made me feel great. Great friendly but professional help

I've been using stepchange for years now and on the occasions I have needed to speak to someone they have always been friendly but professional. You never get the feeling that you are being judged for being in debt and that fact that they are a charity too gives you the confidence that they aren't just after making money out of your problems. It's a long road
