I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Amazing customer service!

Saved my life

Was in a significant amount of debt due to several redundancies, but still tried to maintain same lifestyle with young children. Was recommended to Stepchange (initially CCCS) by National Debtline. They helped straight away, assisting with aggressive creditors, explaining step by step what our plan was, changes we needed to make. They never judged us at all, which made us feel at ease. Could not ask for more

To say StepChange have saved my life would be an understatement. I cannot praise the company enough for all that they have done for me. Whenever I speak to someone on the phone, they never sound judgmental and always want to help you in the best possible way. The whole process is easy and if you ever have any doubts, they never fail to give you peace of mind. Very helpful and recommended to anyone who needs advice

The stigma , shame and worry of debt was making me ill. From the moment I picked up the phone to talk to them they helped me put my mind at ease.
