I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Always there with advice and support

No judgement. Kind, helpful, calm and supportive

I think covid has been hard for everyone. Once secure finances suddenly crumble in a very uncertain world. Step change are a constant in this. A friend in a really harrowing storm. I found them judgement free, calm informative and above all kind. I felt ashamed and they were supportive and reassuring while coaching me through a terrible time. Life saving

It took courage to realise I had got into too much debit so deep breath I phoned Step Change they listened were empathic non judgemental and changed my life by helping me to sort everything out effortlessly by drawing up a payment plan and contacted all my debtors for me.
