Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

One of the best things I ever did!!!

One of the best things I ever did was getting in contact with this company. They helped me organise my mountain of debt and allowed me to be able to put it into a small manageable sized payment. They even allowed me to contact the companies and get the interest rate to freezing and helped me get out of the debt that I was in. I was in a very bad place and had loads and loads of money problems but thanks to this company. They helped me out of it. Reviewed on: 27th May 2026

Help me with my mental health as well
