Help in times of need.

Great people who are really there to help you out in times of need, I am really glad I took the plunge and got help now I'm on a plan and and looking forward to the future debt free. I gave them all the I formation I needed and they wrote to all my debters and sorted everything out for me. I would highly recommend them. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

I can sleep easier now.

I was with another debt manager agency before StepChange, they made me feel stupid and I felt bullied into paying £40 a month for their help. StepChange are supportive, kind and really do help you manage your debts. They deal with your creditors, which takes a huge amount of stress away. They help you work out what you can afford to pay and still keep your creditors happy. You have an online account so you can easily track what is going on and report changes in your circumstances. And this is all free, i can now see some light at the end of the tunnel and I'm able to sleep easier. Reviewed on: 10th June 2025

Help when in a desperate financial situation

I felt like I was in a desperate financial situation and Step Change helped steady the ship and stop me from sinking. They lifted the weight off my shoulders and the worry drained away. They contacted my debtors stopped the interest accumulating and discussed a manageable repayment plan with me. I’m now debt free having paid it all off. Reviewed on: 10th June 2025

I was in a deep hole & couldn't see a way out of my mess, I had to do a lot of legwork at the start to get my scheme in place but it's been so good for metal health to have this help in places, it let me get my finances back on track & kept the roof over my head. Reviewed on: 10th June 2025

There is always a solution.

I found dealing with my debts very stress ful and felt like I was drowning. I struggled for years with the mental burden of my debt.
