I was at my lowest, drowning in debt left by my ex-husband and living from month to month only paying minimum payments. The shame I felt was as overwhelming as the mountain of debt, until I talked to StepChange. The lady I spoke to was absolutely amazing. Louise was totally amazing !!

I just spoke to Louise today to change my direct debit date and she was very efficent and professional and actually went above and beyond to help me. She managed to revert my recent payment which has helped me massivly as I don't get paid for 6 weeks. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026
