They were so kind and offered me breathing space

When I was at my lowest point and felt like I didn't have anywhere to go, they gave me a breathing space that changed everything for me. Cyber Security - Level 3 - Paulo Azevedo

The course (Cyber Security - Level 3) was well structured, all the literature for each Unit was provided, with lots of key points and suggestions for research were also included, the tutor (Craig Wilson) was excellent, providing slides for each topic, had fountains of knowledge, experience, advice, suggestions for research, answering all the questions and comment on our life chat, occasionally made us work in groups, which was great, we were also given a great amount of home work, which made us prove that we were learning and understanding the course, and upon marking, if we didn't meet the criteria for question, Craig would ask us to review it, and explain why. Loved this course, not just because of the tutor, but was very interactive, and everyone participated. Reviewed on: 10th May 2026

World turned around

I was going thru a very difficult marriage break up and left with debt. I didn’t know where or who to turn to. It’s been 3 yrs and I’ve been with stepchange for just over a yr. and now I’m steadily getting my debt paid and living without that stress of worrying abt paying 10/15 different ppl I owed money to and stepchange pay them from one payment I give them. Thank you Stepchange.

Id throughly recommend working with stepchange. It helped us to budget and realise that we did have the spare money to pay off debts if we tweaked a few things which in turn meant feeling less guilty about spending money. They also helped us communicate with our debtors to get their help too. We did have a slight issue in that we had some extra money which we wanted to use to pay our debts which stepchange told us to write letters to our debtors but this ended up causing confusion and we would have been better off to just pay it off but I suppose it was an unusual circumstance. All in all though most communications I have with stepchange were.pleasant and they never made you feel like a bad person for having got in to debt and there was a way forward. Thank you stepchange!
