Supportive and Caring

Stepchange is the understanding, none criticising option for anyone who has unfortunately fell into debt I would sure recommend them. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2021

From the start they were supportive, helped me

From the start they were supportive, helped me set up my DMP - Debt Management Plan, i didn't feel judged. i was so embarrassed of the mess i had got into, but they helped me work through it and contacted the companies i owed money too. I got a cooling off period so i couldn't be contacted - i was able to breathe again. i will be paying back for a few years yet, but i do have an end date and i feel more in control and able to budget properly to prevent me from getting into debt again in the future. they regular update my DMP and if there are any changes, such as reduce hours at work or anything, they quickly and easily adjust my budget with me to make sure its affordable. .Don't be ashamed to ask for help

I am in my 70s and was embarrassed to be in debt . Step Change have been incredibly helpful getting my debt under control which has helped me regain my self-respect. They are understanding and non-judgemental and I would be happy to recommend them to everyone, irrespective of age. Reviewed on: 9th May 2026

After getting advice from other DMP companies and learning how much interest I would have to pay, my friend told me about Stepchange. Easy to contact, everything via email and online submissions which was my preference. Great advice. Literally saved my bacon and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Reviewed on: 9th May 2026

Helpful and stress free
