Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Stepchange saved my life.

Stepchange saved my life. I was in trouble and did not know where to turn and they threw me a lifeline and helped me work out a plan to get out of my debt. Over the past 10 yrs, they have helped me sleep peacefully, knowing my debtors are getting monthly payments in amounts I could handle. I am almost debt free now. They were there for me when I didn't know what to do...

They were there for me when I didn't know what to do, they listened without judgment and explained my options to me. I remember feeling so lost and overwhelmed by my debts, and just being able to talk to someone who understood and could provide a way forward was such a relief. The process of setting up a Debt Management Plan was straightforward, and they handled all the communication with my creditors, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. It made all the difference to my mindset knowing that someone was fighting for me and on my behalf to get me back on my feet. I would strongly encourage anyone in debt to seek the help of StepChange. They are a lifeline, offering free, impartial advice and practical support when you need it most. The best way to solve your Debt Problems

Since Spoke with Debt Advisors, they explained at detail all options that I can applying. It was the best support that I had due I was so stressed with my debts, even there were nights unable to sleeping well due worrying. Great advice
