Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Stepchange have been amazing,they don't judge and have really helped me to budget to pay off my creditors ,with an affordable budget worked out they do all the hard work on your behalf and sort regular affordable payments to pay off your debts . without stepchange's help and advice I dread to think how I would have managed ,my debts are coming down and there's light at the end of the tunnel.Please if your are having problems with debt get in touch with them ,it will give you peace of mind and you'll sleep better without the constant worry. Great experience with stepchange.
