Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Life savers .....

Stepchange was recommended by family as I could see I was getting into trouble financially. After the initial application I immediately felt an air of reassurance. There has been no obstacles and no unnecessary calls from the people I owed money too. Everything has been smooth sailing. It is all Internet managed mostly. Great service and would defo recommend. Genuinely changed my life

My debts had started to consume my life, and my mental health started taking a battering - I felt like I had nowhere left to turn. Stepchange let me take control of my finances, and my life.
