Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

Best phone call I made!

StepChange removes all the worry of repaying debts.

StepChange removes all the worry of repaying debts. Based on my income and commitments, the Debt Management Plan they put together for me was perfect. They liaised with all of my creditors on my behalf, which stopped all of the harassing calls and letters, and took all the stress out of my situation. My DMP is going well, and my debts are reducing.
