Changed my life!

StepChange have really changed my life. All of a sudden I found myself I a huge amount of debt and was only managing to make minimum monthly payments. I heard of StepChange on the radio one evening and finally gave them a call. They talked through everything step by step with me and helped me set up a DMP, my circumstances changed various times over my repayment period, and I could easily review my income and outgoings online so that my monthly payments went down / up where I needed it. I’m so grateful for what they have done and am in such a better place now thanks to StepChange. Couldn’t recommend them enough to anyone struggling with debt. Reviewed on: 3rd July 2025

You never know what's around the corner.

You never know what's around the corner. We got into debt due to my husband having head and neck cancer. He looked and felt perfectly fit and then the diagnosis hit. He had to give up work and overnight we lost an income. It can happen to anyone. We couldn't see any light at the end of the tunnel and then we telephoned StepChange and it felt like a gentle arm around us telling us they could help. Stepchange have helped with my financial situation and have been sympathetic in my dealings with them. When I have been unable to make my monthly contribution on time Stepchange have helped me by waiting until my funds have reached my account.
