I spent every night for months trying to make everyt...

I spent every night for months trying to make everything work money wise for my situation but it never would, I was crying every night and buying for food and fuel on credit cards. These people where my last resort, that was my downfall. They should have been the first place I went to! If I had I would be in less debt but trying to admit you can't do it anymore is the hardest part. Without these people my family would be homeless and I don't know where we would be. It took two months to sort my account out and get up and running and the hardest part for me was phoning up and talking to a different person each time but otherwise it was all positive. Such a relief

We were in over our heads due to my having to give up work through illness. Stepchange were brilliant. They listened and never once judged us. We have nearly finished paying it all, but are really grateful to the lovely people we have dealt with there.
