It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Have been able to regulate my finances. Dealing with my debtors. Relieving me of that stress. They stand as middlemen for me. Not to worry about the creditors as long as I pay the amount Step One worked for me. They are doing this very effectively. Their customer service is very good. They handle your case with very much understanding. Suggests reasonable means you can deal with your situation. They are indeed very helpful. It was such a relief when I contacted StepChange.

It was such a relief when I contacted StepChange. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff and helped me with a Debt Management Plan. I am now some way in to this plan. It has been hard living within the budget but I have managed. I am now in the last year and looking forward to being debt free. I cannot thank StepChange staff enough for their help. Stepchange have been 100% supportive from my first initial contact and ongoing. When I contacted Stepchange my debt problem was spiraling out of control. As the saying goes "Robbing Peter to Pay Paul." Not literally but I had more money going out than coming in. I started to turn a blind eye just popping debt post into a draw "Out of Site. Out of Mind." The mental stress became too much as I didn't share with anyone, until finally I contacted Stepchange for help and they've been marvelous. They listened with empathy and calculated a plan which suited my purse. At any time if my circumstances changed I would ring them up and another plan was set. I have since shared my debt with others so that they are understanding my situation. I'm near the end now. I have typed out a monthly Ins and Outs so that I keep on top of things. I no longer have steepness nights. (Not for money anyway). Please don't sit in silence. Ring Stepchange today. That's what they are there for. Reviewed on: 26th May 2025

the final countdown thanks to stepchange all my debts were paid in one monthly payment and split into each creditor and paid to each one and the whole debt was paid over 5 years in a painless way once the first year was gone it seemed easier Reviewed on: 26th May 2025
