All my anxiety and worry went after I contacted Step change. I have had DMP in place for a long time with not much left to go. It really has helped me so much. I can now budget better and no longer see my wage disappear through debt when I get paid. I really don't know wht I would have done without the help of Step Change. Reviewed on: 6th June 2025

Stepchange got me breathing again

Stepchange helped me breathe again. I was at an all time low, depressed and struggling to cope. Stepchange took one of the big burdens off my chest by negotiating repayments with all my lenders. And they didn't just stop there. When I had to leave my job and find a new one that paid less, they helped me review my budget and reassessed my payments. Throughout my dealings with Stepchange, they have been always professional as well as caring. They genuinely understood my distress and helped me visualise a future where i would be debt free. Step Change is a life saver for me

Lots of filling out forms and getting acquainted with online account at beginning, but these guys have gotten me out of impossible to pay overdraft fees and and late loan payments after I got scammed and hit rock bottom. As long you are consistent with your arranged monthly payments you will have no problems or unnecessary phone calls from them. They show up on my monthly direct debit list and they take care of all my debts for me, not having to worry about my debt, and allowing me to concentrate on getting back on feet, and they really do make things easier when you hit rock bottom and you need some space to pick yourself up, You also have the ability to choose how much you can afford to pay each month for all your debts together and they split the money for all your debts for you so you don't have to pay each debt individually, great customer service and helpful.
