It was becoming extremely detrimental to my mental health, exacerbating my PTSD and inducing suicidal thoughts. My lifeline

StepChange were non judgemental when I made contact and I felt I could discuss my debt in confidence.. StepChangee were my advocate and negotiated with my creditors a regular monthly payments that I could maintain.. Yearly reviews of my finances and an end date to be debt free helped motivate me to keep my payments up. Every time a payment was taken I felt relief. Overwhelmed with debt.

I was overwhelmed with debt and the interest being added to it every month meant it was going to take forever to pay it all off. Enter Stepchange, who took the weight off my shoulders, organised a repayment schedule with all my creditors and, most importantly, stopped the interest being added to my debt.
