It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Life saving debt management charity

This charity absolutely saved my life after I found myself in unmanageable debt. They took all the details of my incoming and outgoings and amount of debt and suggested the solution of a debt management plan. They dealt directly with my creditors for me so I didn't have to do a thing and I'll be debt free next year! Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Help when I had no-one to turn to

I was at a very difficult period of my life and didn't know where to turn. An internet search yielded StepChange and it couldn't have been easier to deal with them. Helpful, friendly and non-judgemental advisors who set up my plan. The phone lines are often busy but you do get monthly updates and an online portal to check your status.
