i was scammed, frauded.

i owe money to a loan company but i did not borrow it the scammers did it and the police said it was fraud and the bank said it was fraud but the loan company said it was not fraud, i have police fraud phone number and same with my bank but i have to pay a very large sum of money back myself and step change helped me with a debt management plan. StepChange helped me to deal with my debts...

StepChange helped me to deal with debts that I could not service at the time I first contacted them in December 2021. They provided invaluable assistance in dealing with my creditors and subsequently helped me move into a Debt Management Plan so that I could repay what I owe over a time period that was acceptable to my creditors, who also agreed not to charge interest on the debt. Excellent service highly recommended

Being in debt is not nice for anyone and everyone I have spoken to at Stepchange has been very helpful and the most important thing to me is not feeling judged which I don’t by anyone at Stepchange they just want to help people. They give excellent advice and if I ever feel the need to speak to some they are always there to listen. Reviewed on: 3rd June 2024

there is a light at the end of the tunnel

Started my debt plan when they were called consumer credit counselling service (CCCS). At that time I had chosen to bury my head in the sand and allow my debts to escalate around me. I then made the decision that I needed to act before I drowned in my debt, I’d looked at a few debt manage companies and eventually found at that time the CCCS (now Stepchange). My main decision for choosing my debt management plan with stepchange was that there was no fee to pay so that all my payment went to my creditors & that the monthly payments were manageable & I found that I could breathe, it was easy to set up my debt plan & their advice was extremely helpful. Moving forward doing my review each year was just as easy. I would encourage anyone who has debt problems to contact stepchange at the first opportunity so that you can start to clear your debts & more importantly start to breathe & live a normal life again without the worry of debts spiralling out of control. Professional and compassionate

Stepchange have always treated me professionally but with human compassion. Being in debt can make you feel a failure but there has never been any judgement from anyone I have spoken with at Stepchange. They have been a huge help to me when I have been at my lowest. Reviewed on: 30th May 2024
