It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. They are here to help

I was going through a bad time i was getting into a mess with my debts and didn't know what to do, then I heard about step change, it took a lot of courage to ring them as I felt ashamed but I'm so glad I did I honestly wouldn't have known what to do without them, I could have lost my house, I was beside myself did I buy food or pay my debts but they were and are a fantastic service and they saved my life, the amount of pressure that was lifted was unbelievable I felt I had some control back, they never judged me never made me feel ashamed and was empathic to the situation I was in Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Saved my mental health

Going from drowning in debt to managable monthly payment made a huge difference, not only to my bank balance, but to my mental health. I was severely struggling and couldn't see a way out of all of the debt that had mounted up from a relationship breakdown, but StepChange helped me prioritise my debts, arranged a payment break and I'm now on the way to being debt free with a significantly smaller monthly payment with no huge interest costs.
