Dare to hope,!

I have been very ill with cancer. During my treatments I took my eye off the ball as the saying goes. Was too ill to deal with post and many many calls from people demanding money. I was becoming paranoid about the phone,the postman. Well debts don’t go away I didn’t know where or who to turn to, my life was such a mess, I was even contemplating ending it all. A friend came here and said why don’t we ring Stepchange the debt charity. I had nothing to lose but from that very first call, they made me feel like we can sort this out together and took me through every single step. Every person I spoke with was efficient,nothing was too much trouble, kind and compassionate. Made me feel like perhaps I could live a life. Am not the only person this happens to. Quite a bit of paperwork which I found daunting but even if I was stuck on silly questions I always got a real person to speak with. I can’t praise them high enough Reviewed on: 27th August 2024

When my life was happy and trouble free until my accident, I was scared to death of ringing stepchange, but so happy I did because these people don’t judge you they just really care about you and your position, working with different people who all have the same agenda and that’s to reassure you and your creditors that you and stepchange are working together to help each other and create a plan that works for everyone, if you’re reading this and need help JUST CALL STEPCHANGE DONT WAIT GET THINGS MOVING YOU WONT REGRET IT , Reviewed on: 15th May 2024

I’ve been with step change for a number of years due to having unmanageable debt. Their customer service is impeccable and are so helpful! If I didn’t contact them I’d be in debt for at least 12years rather than the 3 I’m currently in. Everything is easy and straightforward. They’re the best! Reviewed on: 15th May 2024

Debt help

Got into debt due to partner losing his job and was struggling to live. We were paying the minimum amount but was still struggling until a kind woman at the bank mentioned Stepchange. I contacted them and they helped to get a payment plan in place with my creditors Reviewed on: 15th May 2024
