It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. With out the support and a listening ear I would of...

With out the support and a listening ear I would of crumbled, my mental health was not good, I found myself on my own with 3 children under 14 years of age, ill health hit and I did not know where to turn, these wonderful people saved me Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

So grateful to StepChange.

I went from having a well paid job to not. I accrued debts I wasn’t covering the interest on every month. I was drowning. Owning my problem, the reality check of writing it down was really helpful. I got an affordable debt management plan. The annual reviews are great too, you can increase or decrease payments realistically. (Or just ring if circumstances change. I recommended StepChange to my son, and he has a DMP too. I have now paid mine off and am solvent for the first time in my life. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Finished!

When conducting our annual reviews, most of the staff were friendly and helpful and were let down by the few who were less than helpful, hence the loss of one star in the rating. We have however, with their help got through our problems and are now happily debt free! Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Best Debt Management Organisation Ever

Step Change gave me a new lease on life - overwhelmed by debts, I found help in managing my financial difficulties and gaining peace of mind and relief from all the permanent stress due to my money worries. They proved to be a shield between me and my creditors and they arranged a very affordable payment plan. Their staff is very understanding and knowledgeable and they dealt with my issues quickly and efficiently. Further on, the opportunity of dealing with matters personally online ( like reviewing my budget for instance) proved to be an even more suitable and straight forward way of using my time.
