Thank you Stepchange

After many worrying restless nights feeling I was drowning under the weight of the interest occurring from credit card debt, I was told about step change and it was amazing they helped me enormously bringing more manageable payments and a solution to getting more realistic payments and halting crippling interest charges. The lady I spoke to was amazing she had knowledge and empathy and soon got things going I have nothing but gratitude and now see a way out I encourage anyone feeling great stress around debt to get in touch with Step Change. My debt was getting out of hand

Stepchange are a charity they do not charge you

Stepchange are a charity not a money making “financial services” company. It breaks my heart that if you Google Stepchange the first listings are paid for to try and take you away from a charity and into the hands of services some of who will refinance your debt but also make money from you! Make sure you only go to the genuine STEPCHANGE website as they will do everything then can to help without charging you a penny!! Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Lifesaver

I was drowning in debt and didn't know what to do until I spoke to stepchange and they looked at all my debts and came up with a management plan that allows me to make affordable monthly payments. They deal with your debtors and agree a reasonable payments to each of them Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Fantastic service, takes your worries away

I found out about Stepchange on the gov.uk website. I was in a mess financially, emotionally and mentally. The advisors were so kind, didn't judge and allowed me to do everything online for the figures, outgoings and debt. I was glad that they could help me, they contacted all of my creditors, told them how much I could afford and when I got threatening letters advised me and contacted the creditors for me. I no longer deal with my creditors which has helped my mental stress and I just pay a set amount to Stepchange every month. They then split it up to pay off my debts. The staff are fantastic, it is a totally free service and they remain your contact point for however long it takes to pay off your creditors. You also get monthly statements to show how you are doing. Before finding them I was looking at debt solution agencies who charge a monthly fee, I am so glad I found Stepchange instead. Making Debt Stress more manageable

I am not proud of falling into debt but sadly losing my business through Covid I was left with no choice.From the moment I spoke to Stepchange they were absolutely brilliant. They have helped manage my stress and anxiety associated with the debts and my creditors accordingly.
