It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. I couldn't have done it without Stepchange.

Stepchange has been there for throughout what I thought was an impossible situation. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They have been helpful and supportive in every way. Excellent service

Debt worries

I was really overwhelmed by the number of payments and how much they were to manage each month. I took out small loans to cover payments and it all escalated but my DMP did stop that. I feel so much better overall. However I was not aware that my creditors can log missed payments every month so I have accrued 11 defaults and 8 missed payments in 18months which does not look good on my report. I would never have had the money for a settlement so its the best it could be Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025
