Feeling back in control of my finances

After going through a divorce I was left with debt. With 2 small children and a part tine wage it was really tight. I had to live on credit cards to live for a bit and that coupled with the marriage debt it was tough. My mum who watches Martin Lewis like a borderline stalker recommended Stepchange. I was ashamed to need debt help but Stepchange staff do not judge, they made me feel that I could pay this off over time at a monthly amount I could afford. The relief after the first phone call was immense. I now have a realistic monthly amount to pay and no letters or demands coming through. My life is alot better for doing it. I feel back in control. Without the support I have had from step change debt...

Without the support I have had from step change debt management service I don’t know how I would of coped over the last few years. There staff are so understanding and extremely supportive to me.
