It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. I got myself into a difficult financial situation and was dealing with it for years until it got to the point where I physically had to ask for help to stop me from getting behind with payments. I was absolutely dreading it and cried a few times at the thought of it and I was back and to on the website before I finally gave in and asked for help. It was so simple and the process was all very quick. I got all the advice I needed and set up a debt management plan and the weight was really lifted off my shoulders. I really wish I had done it sooner and can't believe how much better I felt. I started having more money, was able to save for things I could have never done before all at the same time as paying my debt off. Each year they do a financial review which you can choose to pay more or less. I choose to pay a little bit extra a month and knocked a year off my plan end date. If you are unsure of what to do with your financial situation if you are having difficulties I would definitely recommend step change and anyone who feels scared of taking the step please don't, it's one of the best things that you could do!
