I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Excellent service!

Excellent service! 4 years ago I realised that I was £40,000 on debt (I had been a student and had had undiagnosed Bipolar) Stepchamge advisers were extremely helpful and set up a plan for me. After 18 months I had to give up my job. For a few months I was on universal credit and I was allowed to take a break from payments. I earn less money with my current job but the review reflected this and I pay less each month. I now owe judt under £20,000 and am very happy about this. The whole process has been stress free and I would definitely recommend it to anyone unfortunate enough to have large debts. I love that it is a completely free service and I am not paying interest on my old credit cards. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024

Help is out there.

I had got myself into financial difficulties which I could not see an end to it, the worry was affecting my health. Step Change Debt Management helped put everything into perspective and prioritise my debts. After telling them all they arranged a debt management plan for me. Now I am paying my debts in an easier manner. I can not thank them enough for helping me. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024
