I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

Brilliant debt services

Took my anxiety away

Step change were there to help when I hit financial difficulty, they were sensitive when dealing with me and found me a plan that works for me. Relief

I was in debt and didn't have the income to keep on top of the payments. I couldn't stop worrying even trying to sleep so had an impact on my mental health. The best out there.

Struggled with debt for a number of years. Step Change is a no nonsense, straight talking debt advice charity. They help you pick the right option and deal with all your creditors afterwards. They were there when I needed them most

You never think you’re going to get into a situation where your income is less than your outgoings but unfortunately due to a few circumstances changing, I did, I contacted step change and set up a DMP. The whole process was easy and they have been very responsive either way. Lifechangers

Stepchange changed our lives. We had beeen struggling to pay things, always using cards as a top up, to pay for weekly shopping etc until things had to stop. Credit card bills spiralled and we simply were just paying interest. Things had to change and we contacted stepchange, the staff were very helpful, non judgemental and made us feel at ease.
