It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Outstanding support

Earlier this year I left an abusive relationship, I was lost, I was ashamed, I didn’t know where to turn. The embarrassment of the economic abuse made me feel like I was to blame so for many months I struggled trying to pay back loans I’d not taken. When I finally realised I needed help I was referred to step change. They listened, they understood and for the first time I felt like I wasn’t being judged. They took the time to go over my options. Excellent help given

I had put off seeking help, my sister encouraged me to make the first move. I have not looked back since.
