I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had bro...

I turned to step change in 2020 my marriage had broken down , and I was left with a lot of debts so I owed about 16000, at the time, iv been able to put all my debts as one payment, so far iv payed just over 6,000 pounds in the last 5 years I'm glad I did turn to step change, they have helped me sort out my debts and now iv been able to sleep at night Reviewed on: 24th May 2025

StepChange have taken the stress away

StepChange have taken over dealing with and paying back my creditor's. I am so happy with the way they treat their customers. They are professional and deal with queries promptly. It is first time when I have to use DMP , I have to say that Step Change is the best company to which one you can decide to go in that situation, always happy to help you , support you really. Saved me

I was literally in a very bad way, emotionally and financially, my mental health was the worst it could be and my debts were out of control. I finally had to face into my problem and call Stepchange. I was embarrassed at how I had let my life and finances get out of control. The call was easy, no judging. It takes a bit of time to get it all sorted, lots of letters but after a couple of weeks I felt in control for the first time in two years. It’s going to take me very long time to clear my debt but at least I have an affordable plan. Everyone I have dealt with has been understanding.
